The rotary braiding machine type BMV 16 with 16 bobbin carriers can automatically accelerate the bobbin speed from 175 rpm to a maximum value of 200 rpm. This allows the braiding performance to increase by 10%. Simultaneously, the frequency of the lubrication intervals is reduced depending on the slideway temperature. Thus, less lubricant is used and less oil contamination occurs on the braids.
A wire tension control system ensures that all braiding wires are applied under uniform tension from full to empty bobbin. The result is a flawless shielding.
The braiding coverage ratio is kept constant at the set value. As only the necessary amount of braiding wire is applied, up to 10% material can be saved.
Monitoring systems enable unattended operation over longer periods of time and without frequent operator intervention. With the help of the myNIEHOFF web app, users can monitor machine and process data online. The BMV 16 is designed for cross sections of 0.02 mm to 0.56 mm² (Cu soft).
